For this month’s Secret Recipe Club, I had Jess’s blog Inquiring chef. I have to admit that when I got the email with this month’s assignment I was thrilled! I love Jess’s blog, her recipes and her photography caught my attention the very first time I visited her blog but what kept me coming back for more was Jess’s kindness that shines through her words and her attitude towards life.

You see Jess was born and raised in Kansas. After finishing the university, she volunteered at a children’s home in Romania where she taught English to 14 amazing kiddos. She went back to work after that in Washington D.C. She got married in 2010 but soon after her husband was offered a position in Thailand so they packed up everything and left on a new adventure together.They were recently blessed with adorable twin girls

GREEN JUICES AND ITS ADVANTAGES

GREEN JUICE?

Basically, green juice is combination of green vegetables and fruits. It can be used as a snack or sometimes as meal as well, by adding almond, butter cream (low fating) and some other stomach full ingredients are enough to make juice into smoothie and covert it into meal.

This is the best way to gain all nutrition from vegetable and fruits, which are hardly used in our daily life. It is also very helpful in many ways such as:

  1. Best for skin.
  2. For weight loss.
  3. For diabetes patient.
  4. For heart diseases.

Fruit provides healthful carbohydrates, and diets rich in fruit and vegetables have been linked with lower body mass index, reduced risk of Type 2 diabetes and reduced risk of heart disease and mortality.

Precaution is better than cure. If you are not consuming your daily nutrition from fruits and vegetables then you are at very high risk. Most of us are not eating enough fruits and vegetables, so if [smoothies are] encouraging people to eat more fruits and vegetables, they’re keeping the other ingredients pretty healthy and they’re finding them satisfying, I think that could be a good thing.
